Yes hunny for yummy Italian food!!!!
Located in Lower Greenville was the little Italian restaurant named Terilli’s.
We were immediately greeted with a warm voice and a smile when we walked in the door. Of course, Christa had to be “that person” and ask for them to charge her phone. (insert face) Anywho, we had a nice little booth next to the window. We got our menus and reviewed them to see what we wanted to have for lunch.
LET’S GET TO THE EATS!
First, we had the spinach and artichoke spalmare appetizer that came with toasted crustini on the side. We both had to stop ourselves for gobbling that up because it was pretty delish.
I had the chicken picatta which was yummy! The sauce wasn’t overbearing, but coated each noodle perfectly. The chicken was also yummy. It wasn’t heavily breaded, so I didn’t feel weighed down after eating, nor did i feel bad for gobbling up my whole dish. haha 😉
Christa’s dish on the other hand was not the best. I don’t know what’s been going on lately, but she just can not pick a good meal. She got the Penne with Grilled chicken, but chose to get angel hair pasta instead. The pasta was tossed with sun dried tomatoes, artichokes, garlic in a spicy olive oil sauce. The grilled chicken was dry and under seasoned and there was too many sun dried tomatoes and not enough olive oil, but it did make for a beautiful picture. 🙂 Pasta is one of Christa’s favorite dishes so that was a slight disappointment, especially considering how good the appetizer was.
Terilli’s overall was a good restaurant, and we will definitely be making another trip for more Italian goodness. The service was spot on. Our servers made it their business to make sure we enjoyed the meal and the experience. Clearly the staff is trained very well and they treat everyone like family. This restaurant is a must try, so tell us about your experience when you go!
