Guys these fries are definitely number one. Anything fried in duck fat is a win in our books. I ordered these duck fat fries along with my siracha burger and experienced pure perfection that day. I gobbled up all the fries and even the crumbs. (Remember, this is a judge free zone.) Actually my mouth is watering just thinking about it. We hope you take our advice and partake on this ride of a lifetime. lol

2. Gin Mill- Dallas

We stumbled upon these fries one late night when we decided to venture out and grab some drinks in Dallas. We actually ordered the fries on a whim to just have something to snack on as we sipped our cocktails and and engaged in some much needed girl chat. Now to be honest, the fries were simple, but the sauce is what made the snack! The sauces at Gin Mill were hand made and boy could you tell! The fresh sauce dipped into the pipping hot fries offered us the perfect late night snack!

3. Hopdoddy- Dallas

First trip to Hopdoddy for us offered amazing fresh burgers and even better fries. As number 3 on our list, these parmesan fries are definitely a must try. They are so delicious and pair perfectly with their burgers that they offer. The truffle oil is not too overwhelming and goes well when mixed with the parmesan. Definitely worth trying!

4. Papas Bravas- Spain

Okay, we know, we know. Papas bravas aren’t “technically” your traditional french fries, but they kind of are…right? lol Okay well you all know that I love Spain; and after living there, fell in love with a very popular tapas dish there by the name of papas bravas. Just think, perfectly cooked fried potatoes that melt in your mouth topped with a spicy tomato sauce. Can you say yum? Now you don’t have to fly half way across the world just to try this. There are plenty tapas bars in the DFW area that will take you on your own trip to Spain one bite at a time.

5. Homemade Fries

Last on our list is always homemade fries that we make ourselves. While living together, fries was always a go to when we needed a late night study snack or just wanted something savory to much on. When making fries at home, the options are literally endless with what you can do with them! Experience and have fun!
