In the heart of Highland Park lies a cute little sandwich shop by the name of East Hampton Sandwich Co. They take pride in being “dedicated to handcrafted ingredients and quick, upscale service,” which definitely shows in the food.
The food tastes fresh, and you don’t have to wait a long time to get your meal. We were actually shocked at how quickly the food came out after what seemed like seconds of us sitting down at our table. Their menu has a variety of sandwiches from the popular lobster roll, to the create your own sandwiches option. They even have a breakfast menu!
Like most sandwich places, you can turn your sandwich into a salad, which is a great option for the calorie counter. They also have sides that are not only popular, but taste great!
Let’s Get to the Eats!!!

I chose to get the Meyer Lemon Chicken sandwich, which did not disappoint. It was served on a warm and crispy bun with watermelon radish, mixed greens, and a meyer lemon vinaigrette.
The chicken was pulled and tossed with the vinaigrette. The radishes gave a good contrast to the meyer lemon and was very refreshing. I also got a side of their kale cole slaw. Yea that’s right kale is back people and very popular if I might add, so it would be only right that they make it into a cole slaw.
I found myself adding a large amount of pepper to the slaw, so it was not my favorite honestly. But the sandwich was very delicious, though I do wish there was a tad bit more of the chicken on the bun.
India opted for the beef tenderloin sandwich, which she loved. It was packed tight with juicy tenderloin.
Her main issue is that she felt like the sandwich should have been toasted and the meat should have been hot. It really would make a completely different experience during the sandwich eating process.
The sandwich was still yummy though, but a hot version of it would have made it perfect!
Overall the experience was pretty good, would I go back? Probably, and when I do, I’m going for the lobster roll and I plan to devour every bit of it.
