Living in Dallas, we see so many restaurants come and go. And no matter if they last two months or twenty years, we plan to highlight some of our favorites eats each month. We hope you enjoy our first ever edition of EATS of the Month.
Hudson House
With one location in Highland Park and another in the food paradise of Addison, Hudson House is doing seafood right.
While everyone seems to gives them accolades for having the “Best Burger in Dallas”, we want to highlight some of their other items.
The Lobster Roll
This phenomenal roll offers lumps on lumps of lobster meat stuffed inside of a poppy seed roll with pickled ginger and cucumber! *starts salivating all over again.*
Oysters
If you’re an oyster lover, then this is your place to be! Most restaurants in Dallas serve your typical gulf oyster and possibly a blue point oyster; but Hudson House has 6 different options that are shucked fresh at their oyster bar.
Public School 214
Public School 214 is a great place for not only recess after work, but also for tasty bites.
Choroni
The ‘Choroni’ is a new feature for Public School 214. The pizza is topped with mozzarella, fresno chili, uncured pepperoni and *drumroll* chorizo! Pepperoni and chorizo was a genius idea, and this pizza reflects that! If you don’t do anything else for 2019, you must try this out.
City Hall Bistro
The Adolphus Hotel is the perfect mix of swanky and classy, and many for sure dream about getting married there. Until then…we brunch like queens! City Hall Bistro is located inside of the Adolphus Hotel, and has a new brunch menu that we are liiiiving for!
The Cinnamon Roll
Whatever words come to mind when you think of Michael B. Jordan are our exact sentiments towards this cinnamon roll. This gargantuan roll is enough for you and your family, or you and your bffls. It is fluffy, and has just the right amount of frosting.
Hazlenut Waffles and Chicken
Last but not least is the hazelnut waffles and chicken! As a Southern classic, most restaurants have some form of chicken and waffles included on their brunch menus. This dish here features light and airy hazelnut waffles drizzled with syrup and then piled high with some AMAZING spicy hot wings! I am pretty sure India got a 10 piece to go because those wings were just that good. I think she didn’t made it home without tearing into that box. (#lies -I.W.)
We hope you enjoy our first edition of EATS of the Month and visit some of the restaurants we have listed out for you above. If you go, tell them the EATS Blog sent you. 😉
